APPETITE FOR FASHION – AUTUMN LOOKBOOK BY HOUSE

Autumn colours, warm knitwear, rock elements and a dash of sports casual style are the prevailing trends in the autumn collection by HOUSE.

The latest lookbook from the label combines the most characteristic elements of non-standard urban stylings, which are perfect for the upcoming autumn season.

The new collection by HOUSE is dominated by autumn colours – mustard, reddish shades, plum purple, claret, various shades of brown, very light grey and pale blue. There are also rock-style black and vibrant, contrasting colours in the more casual clothing.

HOUSE demonstrates how to wear layers of clothing of varying thickness and length. They consist of thick, warm knitwear, softly wrapping the body, thick weaves, blends and plaits combined with thinner fabrics. This layered “onion style” of wearing clothes is not only practical for the autumn chills, but can also be sexy – for example when combined with a knit mini skirt, thin shirt-like dress worn underneath, or skinny denim trousers painted in autumn colours.

Additionally, girls wishing to escape the bitter cold can cover themselves completely with a large fringed scarf with ethnic patterns, or put on a warm, wool coat. The collection could not be complete without funny, “animal” caps and lace-up ankle-length boots, slightly emphasizing the grunge style of the entire collection.

Another strong element in the lookbook are the predatory, rock stylings, announcing the New Year's eve collection, which features obligatory elements of the style, such as black, leather, and metal studs.
In the men's lookbook, two major trends are noticeable. The first one is a casual look – vibrant, contrasting colours combined in nylon coats or checked shirts, sweatpants, baseball jackets, urban versions of sports shoes and caps, creating comfortable and casual combinations.

The casual version of the collection is more elegant, but still allows for urban casualness and nonchalance. It consists of warm sweaters, casual jackets, distressed jeans, as well as warm, knitted caps and elements borrowed from workwear, visible in particular in massive boots and autumn anoraks.

The clothes from the autumn collection presented in the lookbooks will soon be available in HOUSE stores.
