The new House spring/summer promotional campaign is underway. This time with New Orleans as the background for the spring collection. Yet again the brand draws on the atmosphere of music, authenticity and a good dose of denim style. All this portrayed in the extraordinary ambiance of the US southern states by a Californian photographer of Polish origin, Magdalena Wosińska.
The new House campaign follows a young couple wandering through atmospheric New Orleans, with its narrow streets and local clubs resounding with music, which is a source of contemporary jazz, blues and rock’n’roll. Our protagonists travel through the city where they discover new places and get to know people who become a source of musical inspirations. The choice of locations for the new HOUSE session also relates to popular music. From cotton plantations, which were also locations for Steve MacQueen’s film 12 Years a Slave, through famous Bourbon Street, to the legendary recording studio Primal On Vinyl, where Erykah Badu and Mos Def made their albums.
The author of these exceptionally atmospheric pictures for the latest HOUSE campaign is a Californian photographer of Polish origin, Magdalena Wosińska who has wonderfully captured the musical overtones of the brand and the new collections. The images are saturated with sunny Californian aesthetics and reflect the authentic atmosphere of the south and of the spring, of holiday impressions. The choice of the photographer was not accidental. Photography is not Magda’s only passion; she is also involved with music, having played guitar in the rock band, Green and Wood, for eight years. Today she works with the New York agency Weber Represent. She previously shot for such brands as Converse, Current/Elliot, Elkin, Lee, Mr. Porter and Silver Jeans Co.
The campaign is accompanied by a promotional video with a BLACK KEYS hit in the background, which was the headline for this year’s Open’er festival. The author of the clip is the distinguished photographer and filmmaker, Bart Pogoda.
This season the HOUSE campaign will focus even more on the musical character of the brand. The internet page will be fitted with the DEEZER player which will allow visitors a personalized journey through landscapes and music. The brand will support independent music and become a patron of large concerts.
The AFPHOTO agency is responsible for the concept of the campaign and its realization. In its creative part the campaign was supervised by Maciej Czarnecki and the House brand manager, Grzegorz Chyła. The styling is the work of one of the best Polish stylists, Andrzej Sobolewski.
